The AMUN General Rules of Procedures has long been established together with Ufrgsmun Secretariat. The cooperation between these two immensely traditional and renowned Brazilian MUNs has always resulted in the most realistically innovative rules which provide for electrifying simulations.

This year's rules have been adapted with the only purpose of improving upon such a tradition. Two main changes are worthy noticing: a new “Point of Inquiry” has been called on to substitute for the ailing and controversial Point of Parliamentary Inquiry; and new kinds of documents present in ordinary UN and multilateral discussions have been added to the official committee decisions’ roll of possibilities.

The General Rules of Procedures will apply to all 12^th AMUN and Ufrgsmun 2009 ordinary committees. Special Rules of Procedures, which will always be posted to this web-site, will guide discussions in three AMUN committees: UNSC; AUPSC; and CSSD.
