The Americas Model United Nations (AMUN) is an educational project organized by the undergraduates of the Universidade de Brasília. AMUN was the first UN simulation conference held in South America. Renowned by a long tradition of innovation, AMUN has ever maintained distinguished administrative and academic excellence. At this 12th edition, which will take place in Brasília, from July 13th to the 17th, AMUN committees will meet a pair of interrelated challenges: “Fostering Cultural Diversity” and “Strengthening a Global Identity”.
